An inclusive martial arts community for all.

Together we can!

We welcome inquiries from all individuals, organizations or corporations that want to be part of our life-changing program for people with special abilities.

*All Martial Arts Abilities Canada operations have been transferred over to Skyline Shotokan Karate effective June 1st, 2019.

Our vision is to provide quality, caring Karate Instruction for those with special needs & abilities and to include all in our training program - caregivers, support workers and family.

Through adapted Karate methods tailored to the needs of the individual, we aim to enhance the lives of people with special abilities who need more personalized training than in the mainstream marital arts environment.

Program Model:

1) Athletes or their agency pay a yearly registration fee and monthly training dues to help support the program and to keep it operating.

Registration and monthly fee includes:

  • Free uniforms for life

  • Belt advancement gradings

  • Participation in events!

2) We encourage all caregivers and support workers to participate for free (no uniforms or belt advancement needed) as we stress inclusion for all while getting to be a buddy (co-trainer) with the athlete(s).

As an added benefit for caregivers and support workers who want to be tested for different levels and receive belt promotions etc;  they can train in one of our mainstream clubs for only the yearly registration fee, while also receiving free training, uniforms and participation in events!

*Belt tests and fee's will apply.

3) Community sponsor's are always needed & encouraged to help support the athletes of our program and to help keep the costs at a manageable level.
